San Diego, CA (September 7, 2026) – One person was killed, and two others were seriously injured following a crash in Barrio Logan early on Saturday morning, September 7. The collision occurred around 3 a.m. on East Harbor Drive near Schley Street.
According to reports, a 2018 Dodge Charger was traveling at a high rate of speed when it veered right and struck a parked Kia and multiple fixed objects. All three occupants were ejected from the Charger during the crash. The three people were taken to a hospital for treatment. One passenger later died, while another suffered an amputated right foot, burns, and lacerations. The third passenger sustained severe head trauma.
A suspected impaired driver was reported in connection with the crash. The incident remains under investigation, and additional details may be released as the case develops.
