Indianapolis, IN (June 8, 2026) – Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to the area of a pedestrian crash around 10:08 p.m. on Saturday, June 6.
The report stated that a man died after being struck by an SUV on North High School Road on the northwest side of Indianapolis. When emergency units arrived, they found the man lying in the roadway with serious injuries. He was taken to a hospital in very critical condition and later pronounced dead at 10:52 p.m.
The Marion County Coroner’s Office identified him as 43-year-old Brett Eatman. Police confirmed an SUV was involved in the collision. The driver remained at the scene and spoke with investigators. The investigation remains ongoing.
