Syracuse, NY (January 13, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a traffic collision with injuries on Monday in the Near Eastside area of Syracuse, along the eastbound lanes of Interstate 690 near the N McBride St exit.
The crash, which occurred during the afternoon commute, involved multiple vehicles and resulted in injuries to at least one person. Firefighters and paramedics arrived swiftly, providing treatment at the scene before transporting the injured party to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
The collision caused temporary lane disruptions on I-690 E as responders worked to manage the scene and ensure safe passage for other drivers. Motorists were advised to use caution and expect brief delays in the area.
