Snow Hill, MD (August 2, 2026) – A teen was seriously injured after a bicycle crash involving a vehicle at the intersection of North Washington Street and East Market Street in Snow Hill on Friday, July 31.
Detectives were sent to the scene, where bystanders had already begun assisting the injured child before they arrived. According to preliminary findings, the teen was riding a bicycle into oncoming traffic when a northbound vehicle struck them. The child suffered a serious hand injury and received treatment at the scene before being airlifted to a Baltimore trauma center for additional medical care.
The driver stopped immediately after the collision and cooperated with investigators by remaining at the scene. Officials continue to investigate the crash and will provide more information as it becomes available.
