Middlebury, CT (July 13, 2026) – A teenager died following a scooter crash involving a pickup truck early on Saturday, July 11, in Middlebury. The collision was reported at approximately 12:30 a.m. in the area of 480 Middlebury Road.
According to the initial report, the scooter and a pickup truck were involved in the crash. The teen riding the scooter was taken to Waterbury Hospital with serious injuries but later died.
The pickup truck remained at the scene following the collision. Detectives are still investigating the cause of the crash.
