Neosho, MO (July 23, 2026) – A 15-year-old boy was hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident on Wednesday, July 22, on Norway Road, about two miles west of Neosho. The collision occurred around 9:22 p.m. in Newton County.
A 20-year-old Carthage woman was driving a 2018 Toyota RAV4 south when it entered the path of an eastbound 2010 GMC Yukon. A 19-year-old Neosho man was behind the wheel of the Yukon.
The teen was riding in the GMC and received treatment at Freeman Neosho for moderate injuries.
Both vehicles were listed as totaled and removed from the roadway.
The circumstances surrounding the wreck remain under review. We hope the injured passenger has a swift and full recovery.
