Georges Township, PA (August 22, 2026) – A 17-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Thursday morning, August 20, at Morgantown Road and Valley School Road in Georges Township.
Charles Plum of Lake Lynn died following the collision, according to the Fayette County Coroner’s Office. According to Pennsylvania State Police, Plum was riding a Yamaha Virago 750 south on Morgantown Road around 8 a.m. when he collided with a box truck.
The police said the truck driver was turning left onto Morgantown Road from Valley School Road. Plum suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The 51-year-old box truck driver was not injured.
