Bronx, NY (July 31, 2026) – Three people were hurt in an apartment fire late on Thursday night, July 30, in the Morrisania neighborhood of the Bronx.
The fire broke out at approximately 11 p.m. inside a second-floor apartment in a building on 3rd Ave between E. 167th St and E. 168th St. According to initial reports, the fire began after an e-bike caught fire inside the apartment.
Three people were taken to area hospitals for treatment. Officials said the fire was brought under control in a short time, limiting further damage to the building. Additional information about the injuries and the circumstances surrounding the fire was not immediately available. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
