Park Rapids, MN (May 28, 2026) – Three people were hurt in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 34 and County Road 4 in Park Rapids on Wednesday, May 27. All three were taken to St. Joe’s with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 2016 Buick Regal, driven by Heidi Ann Buscher, 60, of Lake George, MN, was heading southbound on County Road 4 when she attempted to cross Highway 34, and a 2018 Buick Enclave traveling westbound on Highway 34 struck her vehicle. Airbags deployed in both cars.
The Enclave was driven by David Ronald Marti, 75, of Alexandria, MN. His passenger, Nancy Lee Marti, 68, also of Alexandria, was also in the vehicle. All three people were wearing seat belts, and alcohol was not suspected as a factor in either driver’s case.
The cause of the wreck is still being reviewed as part of an active inquiry. We hope all three make a full and comfortable recovery.
