Jasper County, MO (July 22, 2026) – Three people were hurt in a two-vehicle traffic accident on Monday morning at the intersection of Missouri 171 and Airport Drive in Jasper County. The collision occurred at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Monday, July 20.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2019 GMC Terrain was traveling northbound when the driver failed to yield while making a left turn. The SUV was then struck by a southbound 2019 Ford Escape.
The 31-year-old driver of the Ford Escape was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. A 93-year-old man driving the GMC Terrain and a 90-year-old passenger were also taken to a hospital with moderate injuries. The GMC sustained total damage, while the Ford had extensive damage, and both vehicles were towed from the roadway.
