Raleigh, NC (July 22, 2026) – A woman succumbed to her injuries after being struck by a car while crossing South Saunders Street near Interstate 40 in Raleigh early on Tuesday morning, July 21. The crash was reported around 4:40 a.m.
According to police, 31-year-old Tyesha Parker was crossing the roadway when she was hit by a Honda Accord. The police said Parker was wearing dark-colored clothing at the time of the crash. She died from injuries sustained in the collision. The driver remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.
