Adair County, MO (July 22, 2026) – One person was hurt in a two-vehicle traffic accident on Monday afternoon on MO-11 about one mile south of Kirksville in Adair County. The collision occurred at approximately 4:45 p.m. on July 20.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 1988 Dodge 1500 traveling eastbound struck the rear of a 2008 Volvo XC90 that was also heading east. The Dodge was driven by a 16-year-old male, while the Volvo was operated by a 22-year-old man.
The driver of the Volvo was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. The Dodge left the roadway under its own power, while the Volvo sustained minor damage and was secured at the roadside.
