Toledo, OH (September 1, 2026) – A Sunday afternoon collision involving two vehicles on Airport Highway and Bronx Drive in south Toledo led to three people being hospitalized on August 30. The crash occurred as one driver attempted to turn left at the intersection.
According to Toledo police, a 49-year-old woman was driving westbound on Airport Highway when she attempted to turn left onto Bronx Drive. A second vehicle, driven by a 20-year-old Toledo woman, passed her, and the vehicles collided at the intersection. Both vehicles left the roadway and came to rest in the front yard of a home.
Both drivers and a 25-year-old passenger were taken to a hospital for treatment, while another passenger was not injured. Their conditions were not immediately available at the time of this report.
