How Two-Vehicle Crashes Are Commonly Examined
Two-vehicle accidents are often reviewed by looking at vehicle movements, traffic signals, road design, and driver actions. Information from witnesses, available footage, and vehicle damage can help explain how the accident occurred. Investigators may also consider factors such as visibility, weather, and roadway conditions. Intersections can be challenging because drivers must watch for turning vehicles, changing signals, and traffic moving from different directions. Staying alert, following posted rules, and allowing enough space between vehicles can help reduce risks on busy roads. Learning about common causes of these accidents can help drivers make safer choices.
