Vacaville, CA (July 4, 2026) – A three-vehicle traffic incident was reported on Thursday afternoon on southbound Interstate 505 just north of the Vaca Valley Parkway off-ramp in Vacaville. The first reports came in at approximately 5:37 p.m., indicating an overturned SUV in the No. 1 and No. 2 lanes with another vehicle in the center divider.
As additional information became available, dispatch records identified the involved vehicles as a white four-door pickup truck, a gray Toyota Sienna, and a green Toyota Camry. The collision temporarily blocked all lanes before traffic was diverted through the center divider. Multiple tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles from the freeway.
