Muskegon County, MI (August 18, 2026) – A serious injury crash involving three vehicles occurred Monday afternoon on Holton Road near Beattie Road in Muskegon County.
The collision happened around 3:45 p.m. on Monday, August 17. Michigan State Police said a southbound vehicle was struck from behind, sending it into oncoming traffic.
Another vehicle then struck it from behind. The report confirmed serious injuries but did not provide the number of people hurt.
Holton Road was closed between Beattie Road to the south and Riley Thompson Road to the north while crews worked at the site. All lanes had reopened before 9 p.m. The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation.
