Toledo, OH (January 11, 2026) – A traffic collision involving two vehicles near Larchmont Elementary early Friday morning resulted in reported injuries and prompted a response from local emergency crews and law enforcement.
The crash occurred around 5:50 a.m. on Slater Street and involved a Nissan Altima and a GM pickup truck. According to dispatch audio, at least one person appeared injured, though the extent of injuries has not been officially confirmed. Emergency medical teams were dispatched to provide care at the scene.
Tensions escalated shortly after the crash, with reports indicating that individuals involved were arguing, and one party attempted to leave before officers arrived. Police intervened to stabilize the situation and begin an investigation into the incident.
