Torrance, CA (January 19, 2026) – A hit-and-run accident left one person injured early Sunday morning in Torrance. The incident occurred at approximately 1:07 a.m. near the 1000 block of W Carson St, triggering an immediate response from local emergency personnel.
Authorities reported that the individual was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene before help could arrive. Paramedics provided on-site treatment and later transported the injured person to a nearby hospital for additional care. The extent of the injuries has not been publicly disclosed.
Torrance Police Department officers responded to the location to begin an investigation.
