Norfolk, VA (August 20, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer was reported on Tuesday morning, August 18, at the intersection of Monticello Ave and E Virginia Beach Blvd. Emergency units were called at about 10:55 a.m. after the vehicles collided.
Photos from the aftermath show extensive damage to a grey car that appears to have been pinned beneath the tractor-trailer. Southbound Monticello Ave at E Virginia Beach Blvd was temporarily closed to traffic while the vehicles were dealt with, but the roadway has since reopened. Charges remain pending the outcome of the investigation, which is still underway.
