Lexington Township, OH (June 17, 2026) – A driver was killed, and two other people were injured after a crash involving a car and a tractor-trailer on State Route 225 in Lexington Township on Monday afternoon. The crash was reported around 12:30 p.m. following reports of the collision.
According to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office, the driver of the smaller vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the car was taken by ambulance to the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton with serious injuries following the crash.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was also injured and transported to Aultman Alliance Community Hospital with minor injuries. Authorities have not released additional details about what led to the crash or the identities of those involved. More information is expected as the investigation continues.
