Westphalia, MO (August 10, 2026) – A 61-year-old Hartsburg man died on Saturday, August 8, after a truck and two motorcycles were involved in a collision on U.S. Highway 63 in Osage County near Westphalia.
The wreck occurred around 3 p.m. at County Road 512, where the highway was temporarily blocked. The man was riding one of the motorcycles when a Chevrolet truck crossed the center line and struck him head-on, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
A passenger was seriously hurt in the accident. The initial report confirmed that three vehicles were involved, including the truck and two motorcycles. The investigation into what led to the fatal collision remains underway.
