Tucson, AZ (January 13, 2026) – A bicyclist sustained injuries following a hit-and-run crash that occurred on Saturday night at the intersection of East Speedway Boulevard and North Country Club Road.
Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene around 8:50 p.m., where they located an injured bicyclist who had reportedly been struck by a white sedan heading westbound at a high rate of speed. The victim was found conscious but only semi-alert as officers and medics began providing care.
Medical personnel worked quickly to assess the rider’s condition and administer treatment at the scene. Further details about the extent of injuries have not yet been released, but the incident prompted immediate concern due to the driver fleeing the location without stopping to render aid.
According to initial dispatch audio, an alert was issued to law enforcement agencies in the area in an effort to track down the suspect vehicle. The hit-and-run driver had left the scene before first responders arrived, and no arrests have been announced as of this report.
