Tucson, AZ (January 19, 2026) – A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries on Saturday night in a crash near the intersection of Golf Links Rd and Houghton Rd in Tucson, according to emergency dispatch communications.
The incident occurred around 8:19 p.m. on January 17. First responders were alerted to the scene after reports of a motorcycle down and an unconscious rider. Before emergency crews arrived, a bystander on site took quick action by applying a tourniquet to the injured rider.
Paramedics with Tucson Fire arrived shortly after and provided additional care. The rider eventually regained consciousness and was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital for further treatment. The extent of the injuries has not been officially disclosed.
No other vehicles were confirmed to be involved, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation by local authorities. Traffic in the area was affected temporarily while crews worked to stabilize the scene.
