Tucson, AZ (January 15, 2026) – A motorcyclist was injured Wednesday morning in a solo crash near the intersection of Southpoint Rd and Kolb Rd, following an apparent incident of high-speed travel.
The crash occurred around 11:04 a.m., with responding officers noting that the rider had been traveling at a criminal speed prior to the collision. Emergency crews arrived at the scene to find that the motorcyclist had briefly fled into a nearby desert area before being located and assessed for injuries.
Medical personnel were dispatched to provide aid, and while the extent of the rider’s injuries has not been fully disclosed, treatment was provided on-site. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
