Why Are Head-On Collisions So Severe?
Head-on crashes are among the most dangerous types of traffic accidents because they involve the combined force of two vehicles traveling in opposite directions.
These collisions often result in significant injuries due to the high impact and limited time for drivers to react. Victims may be ejected from vehicles or become trapped, requiring complex rescue operations.
Fires can also occur when fuel systems are compromised during impact, adding to the danger at the scene.
Drivers are encouraged to stay attentive, avoid distractions, and remain in their designated lanes to help prevent head-on collisions.
