Hazle Township, PA (June 21, 2026) – Two separate crashes involving entrapment and injuries were reported on Friday afternoon in Hazle Township.
The first crash occurred on June 19 at approximately 2:07 p.m. on Cando Expressway near Cranberry Creek. Emergency units were dispatched after reports indicated injuries and an occupant trapped inside a vehicle. Responders arrived and confirmed the situation before crews removed one person from the vehicle. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
A second crash was reported later the same day at approximately 3:59 p.m. at the intersection of Susquehanna Boulevard and Pecora Boulevard. Initial reports indicated unknown injuries, but responders later confirmed multiple injuries and one driver trapped inside a vehicle.
Rescue teams removed the elderly driver from the vehicle, and the person was also taken to a local hospital. Additional details about their conditions have not been released.
