Dent Co., MO (August 27, 2026) – Two people were killed on Tuesday evening, August 25, in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 32 near Highway P in Dent County. The collision happened at approximately 5:35 p.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a Ford Escape was stopped and waiting for traffic before making a left turn when an eastbound Dodge Ram struck the rear of the Ford. The Dodge then crossed the center of the roadway and collided head-on with a westbound dune buggy.
The 60-year-old driver of the dune buggy and his 59-year-old passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 5:56 p.m.
The available report did not list injuries for the Dodge or Ford drivers. Emergency crews from several local agencies responded to the scene. Investigators continue reviewing the crash.
