Syracuse, UT (August 6, 2026) – Two 13-year-old girls died after being struck by a pickup truck while riding an e-scooter near Banbury Dr and Heritage Pkwy in Syracuse on Tuesday, August 4.
The girls were traveling west on Heritage Pkwy when the pickup truck, driven by an adult male, struck the e-scooter. Medical personnel provided care after the collision, but both girls were pronounced dead due to their injuries.
The names of the two girls have not been released. The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under review as investigators continue examining what happened.
