Laclede County, MO (August 25, 2026) – Two people were hospitalized on Sunday afternoon, August 23, after a two-vehicle crash near Missouri Route J and the Route 113 exit ramp. The collision occurred at approximately 4:25 p.m.
According to the crash report, a northbound 2000 Ford F-150 entered the intersection and struck an eastbound 2017 GMC Acadia after failing to yield. Both vehicles then left the roadway and struck a guardrail.
The Acadia returned to the road before traveling off the right side, while the Ford overturned. A 48-year-old woman and a 2-year-old boy riding in the Acadia suffered moderate injuries and were taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
Investigators continue reviewing the crash. We hope the two injured passengers recover fully.
