Ann Lake Twp, MN (August 14, 2026) – Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries on Thursday after a John Deere tractor pulling a trailer came into contact with a Ford Fusion on Hwy 47 in Kanabec County.
The John Deere 4310 was traveling south near 2575 Hwy 47, with the Ford Fusion also heading south at the same location. The Ford came into contact with the tractor’s trailer, causing the tractor to roll before coming to rest.
The tractor driver, 82-year-old Raymond Harold Knutson of Mora, was taken to North Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The report states he was not wearing a seat belt.
The Ford driver, 34-year-old Samantha Jean Kram of Isle, also suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Welia Hospital in Mora. Her vehicle’s airbags deployed.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation. We hope both drivers make a full recovery.

Farm equipment may also make wide turns or move gradually between lanes. Staying alert and reducing speed when approaching agricultural machinery can give motorists more time to recognize changes in direction and maintain a safe distance.
