Intersection Safety on Kandiyohi County Highways
Intersections require drivers to monitor traffic approaching from multiple directions. A driver should slow down, follow posted signs and signals, and make sure the path is clear before proceeding.
Maintaining a safe speed can give drivers more time to react when another vehicle enters an intersection. Staying focused and avoiding distractions can also reduce the risk of a serious roadway collision.
Seat belts provide important protection during traffic accidents. Drivers and passengers should wear them on every trip, regardless of distance or road type.
