Clay County, MO (July 29, 2026) – Two drivers were hurt in a two-vehicle accident on MO-92/State Route E on Monday, July 27. The crash occurred at approximately 6:54 p.m. in Clay County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a southbound 2013 Ford Edge entered the intersection into the path of a westbound 2015 Volkswagen Passat. The front of the Volkswagen struck the Ford Edge on the driver’s side. Both vehicles sustained total damage and were removed by towing services.
The 27-year-old man driving the Volkswagen suffered serious injuries and was taken to Liberty Hospital. The 45-year-old woman driving the Ford Edge had minor injuries and planned to seek medical treatment on her own.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under review as investigators continue examining the available details. We hope both drivers experience a complete recovery.
