Marshfield, MO (July 29, 2026) – Two drivers were hurt in a two-vehicle collision on George Street, about one-tenth of a mile south of Marshfield, on Monday, July 27. The collision occurred at approximately 6:00 p.m. in Webster County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a northbound 2021 Jeep Cherokee crossed the center of the roadway and struck a southbound 2023 Toyota Tacoma. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and were towed from the roadway.
The 27-year-old man driving the Toyota sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Cox South in Springfield. The 59-year-old woman driving the Jeep also sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy in Springfield.
The circumstances of the wreck are still under review as investigators continue to examine available information. We wish both drivers a steady recovery from their injuries.
