Lancaster County, PA (July 17, 2026) – Two people were hurt on Wednesday morning following a traffic accident involving a passenger car and a tractor-trailer on eastbound Route 283 in Lancaster County. The collision occurred shortly before 6:00 a.m. between the Spooky Nook Road exit and the Landisville/Route 722 exit.
According to available information, the passenger car and the tractor-trailer collided in the eastbound lanes. Two people were taken to a hospital with suspected minor injuries. Both vehicles were heavily damaged, and the wreck blocked multiple lanes for an extended period.
Traffic was reduced to one eastbound lane for several hours while the roadway was cleared. The identities of those involved have not been released.
