Villard Township, MN (July 23, 2026) – Two drivers were injured on Wednesday morning after a collision involving a Volkswagen Atlas and an International straight truck on westbound Highway 10 in Villard Township, Todd County. Emergency crews responded to the crash at approximately 8:16 a.m. on July 22 near Milepost 114.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2018 Volkswagen Atlas and a 2018 International straight truck were both traveling westbound on Highway 10 when the vehicles collided. Authorities have not released additional details regarding what led to the crash.
The driver of the Volkswagen, 41-year-old Amanda Molly Campos of St. Cloud, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Campos did not require transportation to a medical facility.
The driver of the International straight truck, 26-year-old Jaxson Alexander Gerlach of Elk River, also suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to Lakewood Hospital for treatment. No airbag deployment was reported in the truck.
Investigators said the roadway was dry at the time of the collision, and alcohol is not believed to have been a factor. The Minnesota State Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
