San Diego County, CA (August 6, 2026) – A two-vehicle traffic accident with reported injuries was recorded along State Route 79 near mile markers 35 and 36 in San Diego County on Thursday, August 6.
According to dispatch information, the collision was reported at approximately 12:40 p.m. Initial reports indicated that two people inside one of the vehicles appeared to be hurt. Emergency units were sent to the roadway, and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) responded to assist.
