Mora, MN (September 4, 2026) – Two people were injured after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday, September 3, at the intersection of Highway 65 and Maple Avenue in Mora, Kanabec County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2005 Ford F-150 was traveling southbound on Highway 65 when it rear-ended a 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe that was also traveling southbound.
The Ford driver, 33-year-old Kathryn Amelia Hickey of Mora, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Welia Hospital – Mora. Her passenger, 40-year-old Joshua Douglas Johnson of Mora, also sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the same hospital. The Tahoe’s driver, 41-year-old Crystal Monica Reynolds of Mora, was not injured.
No alcohol involvement was suspected, and the roadway was dry at the time of the crash. The Kanabec County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
