Lincoln, NE (September 4, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision involving a Chevrolet Traverse and a Mazda occurred near Hunts Drive and Old Cheney Road around 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2. One of the vehicles rolled during the crash.
The driver of the overturned vehicle was taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The initial report did not identify the man or specify which vehicle he had been driving.
The roadway was closed for about two hours while emergency units worked and cleanup was completed. It has since reopened to traffic. Investigators are continuing to determine what led to the wreck.
