Waukee, IA (July 9, 2026) – Two people were injured after a vehicle crashed into a pond along Manchester Boulevard/NW Stratford Drive between NW Charlestown Lane and NW Bennett Street in Waukee on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident was reported around 4 p.m. on July 7, after witnesses reported seeing a vehicle enter the pond. Witnesses did not see anyone exit the vehicle after it went into the water. Rescue crews arrived at the scene and removed two people from the submerged vehicle. Both individuals were taken to local hospitals for treatment, but their conditions have not been released.
