Jefferson County, MO (September 4, 2026) – Two people were injured on Wednesday afternoon when a pickup truck struck the rear of an SUV on northbound MO-141, north of High View Drive.
The accident occurred around 12:49 p.m. on September 2. A 2016 Ram 1500 traveling northbound struck the rear of a 2005 Chevrolet Trax, also heading north.
The 59-year-old Trax driver from St. Louis suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital South. A 56-year-old passenger from Imperial also sustained moderate injuries and was transported to the same hospital.
The Chevrolet was totaled, while the Ram sustained extensive damage. Both vehicles were towed from the site.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under review. We hope both injured occupants make a full recovery.
