Tulsa, OK (August 8, 2026) – Two Oklahoma men were killed Wednesday afternoon after their vehicle crashed into a semi-truck parked on the right shoulder of Interstate 44 near Tulsa.
The fatal collision happened around 1:30 p.m. on August 5 near mile marker 209. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 52-year-old Jamie Earp and 22-year-old Tucker Earp were traveling eastbound on I-44 when their vehicle struck the parked semi-truck.
Both Jamie Earp and Tucker Earp died at the scene. The two vehicles caught fire following the collision, and firefighters responded to the scene.
The vehicle was reportedly towing a horse trailer. A witness was able to free the horses before the fire spread to the trailer. The driver of the semi-truck was also injured, although the severity of the injuries was not immediately known. The crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the circumstances that led to the collision.
