Tulsa, OK (August 8, 2026) – Two Oklahoma men were killed Wednesday afternoon after their vehicle crashed into a semi-truck parked on the right shoulder of Interstate 44 near Tulsa.
The fatal collision happened around 1:30 p.m. on August 5 near mile marker 209. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 52-year-old Jamie Earp and 22-year-old Tucker Earp were traveling eastbound on I-44 when their vehicle struck the parked semi-truck.
Both Jamie Earp and Tucker Earp died at the scene. The two vehicles caught fire following the collision, and firefighters responded to the scene.
The vehicle was reportedly towing a horse trailer. A witness was able to free the horses before the fire spread to the trailer. The driver of the semi-truck was also injured, although the severity of the injuries was not immediately known.
