What Investigators Review After a Head-On Crash
Head-on crashes require a detailed review because vehicles traveling in opposite directions can create a severe impact. Investigators may examine roadway evidence, vehicle positions, lane movement, and other available information to determine how the collision occurred.
Emergency response efforts can also become more complex when crashes involve fire, multiple passengers, or children. Investigators may review the condition of the roadway, visibility, and vehicle factors as part of the process of building a timeline of events.
