Douglas County, NV (July 4, 2026) – Two people were killed, and another person was injured in a crash on Friday morning on SR-208 near Quail Run Way in Douglas County.
Responders arrived at the scene shortly after 6 a.m. on July 3. According to officials, two people died in the crash, and at least one other person was taken to a hospital. The extent of that person’s injuries has not been released. The identities of the two people who died have not been released.
Following the collision, both directions of SR-208 were closed for several hours, with the roadway expected to remain shut down until approximately 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. while crews worked at the scene.
