Otsego, MN (August 14, 2026) – Two people suffered life-threatening injuries on Wednesday after a Ford Econoline left the roadway and rolled near County Road 36 in Wright County.
The 1999 Ford Econoline was traveling south on Highway 101 when it left the roadway and rolled near the county road. The roadway was dry at the time.
The driver, 67-year-old Tong Pao Vue of Minneapolis, was taken to Mercy Hospital with life-threatening injuries. His passenger, 64-year-old Shoua Xiong, also of Minneapolis, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to the same hospital.
Both occupants were wearing seat belts, according to the report. No alcohol involvement was suspected, and the report lists no airbag deployment.
The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation. We hope both injured people receive the care they need to recover.
