Wanamingo Township, MN (August 14, 2026) – A 35-year-old motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries on Wednesday after a Harley-Davidson and a Toyota Camry collided near the Highway 57 and Highway 52 interchange in Goodhue County.
The Toyota was traveling north on Highway 57 and turning onto the northbound Highway 52 ramp. The Harley-Davidson was traveling south on Highway 57 when the two vehicles collided.
The motorcycle rider, Phillip Carl Breidall, 35, of Goodhue, was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was wearing a helmet, and the report states that alcohol was not suspected.
The Toyota driver, 39-year-old Jessica Ann Wetzstein of Wanamingo, was not injured. She was wearing a seat belt, and the Toyota’s airbags deployed.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation. We hope Breidall receives the care he needs to recover.
