Redford Twp., MI (August 17, 2026) – A 13-year-old boy remains in critical condition after he and his 15-year-old sister were struck by a car while riding an e-bike near Inkster Road and Clarita Avenue on Saturday night, August 15. The crash happened at approximately 9:20 p.m.
According to the family, the boy suffered a brain bleed and swelling and remains unresponsive in intensive care at Children’s Hospital in Detroit. His 15-year-old sister suffered four fractured ribs, a liver laceration, scrapes, and bruises. Both teens survived the collision and received hospital treatment. Authorities continue reviewing the circumstances surrounding the crash.
