Santa Barbara, CA (July 16, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision resulting in minor injuries was reported on Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Modoc Road and Via Laguna in Santa Barbara.
According to dispatch information, the collision was reported at approximately 1:39 p.m. involving a white Ford Bronco and a black Honda Civic. The vehicles initially blocked traffic lanes, prompting emergency units to respond to the roadway.
Tow trucks were requested for both vehicles, and traffic was gradually restored as the response continued. By 2:30 p.m., the westbound lane had reopened, and all lanes were open a few minutes later. At 2:43 p.m., dispatch updated the call to confirm the collision resulted in minor injuries. The identities of those involved and the extent of the injuries have not been released.
