First responders were dispatched to the scene after the collision was reported around 1:01 a.m. near the Riverside off-ramp. Initial reports indicate the crash involved a gray Nissan Rogue and a white SUV. The drivers later advised they were on the off-ramp at the northbound SR-2 transition to southbound Interstate 5, where emergency units responded.
Authorities did not immediately confirm whether anyone was injured or whether traffic lanes were blocked as a result of the collision.
