Frequently Asked Questions
Does speed make a difference in how bad a crash turns out? Yes. Higher speeds give drivers less time to react and increase the force involved in any impact, which usually means more serious vehicle damage and injury.
Why is distracted driving considered so risky? Taking eyes or attention off the road for even a few seconds, such as to check a phone, means a driver may not see traffic slowing or stopping ahead in time to react.
