Harnett County, NC (July 31, 2026) – North Carolina State Highway Patrol is investigating a wreck involving an SUV and a pickup truck on N.C. Highway 27 near Ernest Brown Road on Friday afternoon. Aerial footage showed the SUV on its side and the pickup with heavy front-end damage.
A medical helicopter and EMS crews were on scene, with at least one person receiving treatment. Details about the cause and the extent of any injuries were not immediately available.
